Alliance successfully obtained a brand-new 202-year ground lease from Manchester City Council and proceeded with the advancement of the project. A pre-let agreement was secured with the esteemed Dalata Hotel Group, for an impressive 17-storey, 329-key Clayton brand hotel, boasting a 4-star rating. The scheme entailed the complete demolition of a 50-year-old office block. The design and build contract was awarded to Russell WBHO, and together, we navigated the project towards triumphant success. The hotel has been hugely successful since opening and an excellent addition to Manchester's hotel and conference offer and created almost 90 jobs.  Dermot Crowley, chief executive of the Dalata Hotel Group said: "Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre has been made possible through the hard work of our partners on the project – Russell WHBO who constructed the hotel, Property Alliance Group who put together the project as developers, and Aviva who funded the scheme.
